I don't think Indian political parties believing in this...
The Bandra-Worli Sea Link inauguration was supposed to be Mumbai’s pride but soon after its inauguration political parties hovered over it as if it is some kind of sure short way to vote bank.
The link has eight lanes and aims to reduce journey time from 45 to 6 minutes. But like other political controversies this has also been caught by the litigation.
I don’t know whether or not they don’t ‘ve any other issues to deal with? Are they not looking at the stranded commuters and to ease their travel? And it is not the eight wonder of the world that we should feel proud of this .look at the time over run, cost over-run while completing this project, many a times the design was changed which led to the time over-run. Look at the other parts of the world where more complicated structures were completed within the stipulated time.
I think there are more serious issues in our country to deal with.
To change it or not but like most of the other people I would like to call it as
‘Bandra Worli Sea Link’

hmm... lets not spoil the jubiliation by bringing up all this... arent we quite used to all this... infact we shud be happy that such stupid acts are coming down these days...
We are atleast visualizing big... fine we are taking time in actually materializing it... but thats okay... we also have the delhi metro which has time after time beaten deadlines!
oh yes..i appreciate the Delhi metro beating deadlines...but you know Delhi metro was first offered to mumbai..years back..n the result is in front of us ..it is running successfully in Delhi and mumbai still facing commuting problems and it is getting worse day by day
Yup..... Indian politicians have this tendency to name mega projects on the names of the leaders of their respective parties..... Why not it be just tha 'Bandra Worli Sea Link' or on any of the martyrs of the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai??? Its all about taking credit n scoring some brownie points just before the assembly elections..... Shameful n disgusting.....
